Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

By submitting an inquiry or confirming a booking with Martil Rent, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions on your own behalf and on behalf of every member of your party. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.

2. Booking & payment

Bookings are confirmed through direct correspondence with Tarek (the host) and a written reservation confirmation by email. Payment terms — including amounts, currency, deadlines, and accepted methods — are communicated at the time of confirmation. Payments are processed by external providers; we plan to support Stripe for direct online payments in a future release. Until then, payment instructions are provided per booking.

3. Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in are charged 50% of the booking total. No-shows are charged in full. Refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.

4. Check-in & check-out

Check-in is from 15:00 local Morocco time. Check-out is by 12:00 local Morocco time. Earlier check-in or later check-out may be available on request and is subject to availability and prior agreement with the host.

5. Damage deposit

No damage deposit is normally required. Martil Rent reserves the right to request a refundable cash deposit of up to 1,000 MAD on arrival for groups, long stays, or other circumstances at the host's reasonable discretion. The deposit is returned in cash on checkout after a property inspection, less the cost of any damages.

6. House rules

The following rules apply to every Martil Rent property and are strictly enforced:

• No smoking inside any property.
• No pets.
• No parties or events.
• Maximum occupancy as listed on the property page is strictly enforced.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your stay without refund.

7. Property condition & damages

You agree to leave the property in the same condition as you found it, fair wear and tear excepted. You are responsible for any damage caused by you or any member of your party during the stay. Material damages will be invoiced after checkout if not covered by a deposit.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Martil Rent's total liability arising out of or in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, nor for events of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, or government actions.

9. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, and, where applicable to the property and the stay itself, by the local laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute amicably before recourse to the courts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking governs that booking. Material changes will be highlighted on this page; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
